Conquest is a victory condition game mechanic that is no longer active in Naval Action as of Patch 19.

Former Conquest Game Mechanic

In previous pre-release versions of the game, nations competed in the conquest. Each port controlled by one nation granted between 1 and 3 score points. At the end of one game cycle (one week, or 7 server maintenance cycles), the winning nation of the conquest round was evaluated. The current status of all nation scores for conquest was visible in game on the "Conquest Leaderboard".

Legacy of Conquest in Current Naval Action

Ports still have conquest points in game.

The conquest leaderboard is still visible and kept up-to-date, but has no effect. There is no benefit from having higher rank in the conquest leaderboard.
