General Description
The Yacht is a premium ship which was a reward for alpha testers who bought the game before it launched on steam, she is not available if you did not buy the game before the steam early access release. Her non Premium counter part is the cutter.
Armament
The Yacht just like all the earlier ships is quite lightly armed with 6pd cannons or 12pd carronades.

Characteristics
She is a fore and aft rigged ship which makes her excellent for sailing close hauled or beam reach however she suffers when running with the wind.
Here is the Sailing Profile for the Yacht. Excelling at points 90-105, the Yacht also does well around points 45-60, but less so than 90-105. Thus, it is actually preferable to sail the Yacht at a beam reach over anything else, unlike the Cutter which excels at both a beam reach as well as a close reach. Don't be fooled however, the Yacht is still very fast sailing close-hauled, just not quite as fast relatively as the Cutter.
How to get Crafting recipe
As the yacht is a premium ship which everyone who bought the game before the release of early access can get. you cannot get a crafting recipe of the Yacht.
